The serval, similarly identified as tierboskat, is wild cat in Africa. This is a sole fellow of the species Leptailurus and it was first defined by German natural scientist Johann Christian Daniel von Schreber in the year 1776. Eighteen categories are identified. Serval is slim, average-sized cat, which stands 54 to 62 cm and weighs up 9 to 18 kg.

It is considered by a tiny head, big ears, a yellow-golden to fit coat striped and spotted with black, and short, black-sloped tail. Serval has longest legs among any cat family member to its figure size. Both genders establish extremely overlapping home varieties from 10 to 32 km, and spot them with ordure and saliva.

Behavior

Diet

Servals are omnivore, which kills on rodents, tiny birds, insects, reptiles, and frogs and similarly feeds on grasslands. Fit for 90 percentages of preyed beasts weigh up fewer than 200 grams; bigger prey, for instance hares, duikers, young antelopes and flamingoes, may sometimes be hunted.

Reproduction
