Reproduction

Bats can have around 2-3 litters in a season depending on the species and the environment. Female bats have one offspring at one time. Female bats are known to feed their young till they reach an adult stage.A young bat cannot fly unless it has fully developed wings. The timings of pregnancy can be controlled by female bats by a variety of strategies so that the young are born when there is ample food all around.
